Arrival Story: Theresa was very very sick with an upper respiratory infections. She was so sick that she had stopped eating. Her eyes were so infected she was blind and the shelter was going to put her to sleep out of kindness. I pulled her out 24 hours before she was to be put to sleep and put her on antibiotics and syringe fed her. I was betting at the time that she would loose her eyesight all together and that she very well might not make it. Instead she regained most of her sight and is now very healthy and happy. She is training as a therapy cat and visits nursing homes, cheering up the residents with her antics and her sweet disposition.
