Arrival Story:
A couple years ago my stepmom adopted a calico cat, Mixie, from a shelter. Within a month, this cat escaped. So Kim went out in search of the cat, found her, and brought her home. All was well... until the real Mixie showed up the next day. This "imposter Mixie" was kept and became known as Trixie. The two cats looked identical.
My parents are moved to Scotland in October 2011, and they decided to leave Trix in the States. So she became my roommate!
Since she's extremely obese, my human roommate and I decided to call her Cupcake. Or Truffle. Or any form of delicious dessert.
