Hello, Is my mic on?
Wish worthy toys newsletter #1December 2nd 2011 8:53 pm[ View A Comments (11) ]
Okay, very simple, I'm going to list some great toys. You just tell me which ones you must have. If you have one of them you can give a review. And if you feel like being Sandy Paws you can also say what kit you would want to give one of these toys too. If you want to make up a toy go right ahead, tell us about it.
OMC so many very cool ideals and I so want that cat tree (mom said I gotta get a j o b (?) in other words I am not going to get a $799 present bummer. Box sled, yaaay! we got the little tunnel (shown on my page) I love it when mom or dad pull it across the room with me in it! so way fun I need the box sled kitty circus looks like way fun I want it and da bird insect wand mom said no cause we broke the last one so very fast. Crazy cat circle we been playin with it since we were little and most cats here still love it I want somethin new. This list is waaay cool I am going to give it to mom and tell her I want all of it! MOL and I am the closet cat she has to a kitten for play cept for Ivey that cat loves play time too! oh oh oh i want the TREE!!!!!!!!!!! The other things we kinda have, though mostly in homemade versions. The thing we are seriously thinking about is something the pawrents are maybe gonna make outta cardboard boxes - a multi-room kitty fort! See, they are gonna ducttape together a bunch of big strong boxes with holes cut in them so we can go through them like rooms. There are all sorts of places where you can get big boxes. Most retail stores end up having to break them down and throw them in dumpsters otherwise. 'Course they wouldn't HAVE to be taped together if there wasn't someplace that they could be left up permanently. I like the toilet paper roll idea! The pawrents often throw down used paper rolls for us to play with, but they never thought about cutting holes for treats, and the wrapping paper would be an extra plus! (we have one of those plastic treat balls, but this would be NEW and better even because you can chew on it! What cool grandpawrents to give a paper towel roll to shred! The pawrents would know better than to do this, though, since they've got two paper towel dispensers mounted in the house - wouldn't want to give us any ideas...MOL! We have TONS of toys, but I only play with tiny mouse, and Snow will play with ANYTHING!!! LOVE these toy ideas - keep up the good work!! The cat tree is FANTASTIC!!! Luv, Tink & Snow We had a cat circle, we all liked it as kittens but then I guess we outgrew it. We had a booda balance ball but Percy chewed the feather off it in less than 5 minutes. He would also drag the ball around the house and it was very noisy. We love the Cat Dancer and Da Bird (sorry Tabbies). We also like the cheap toys very much. Toilet paper and paper towel rolls are very entertaining and in plentiful supply here! Remember Skylar, there will be a part two to this newsletter/diary/wishlist next Saturday. Mom and Zach tested a few today. Of course, none of them have been as much fun as Mom bringing in the Christmas Tree tonight. She's thinking maybe we should have put the fake one up this year. She told Dad her sentimental breakable ornaments will not be out this year. HeeHee, Sorry Mom. We stopped putting up a tree the year Rusty chewed a string of lights. It was a goofy looking tree anyway ,because the bottom two feet of it had no decorations on it! MOL! Dang! You're putting up a tree?! We wanted a tree, but the Mama said "NO WAY!" She says she will have to content herself with lights strung on the wooden beam that runs across the ceiling. Maybe she can hang a few ornaments up there too for us to stare at, but not be able to reach! WOW what really pawsome TOYS, Gris!~ Thanks fur sharin' all o' dat wif us! Yeps, we got all da homemade toys 'n stuff, 'n I still purrlay wif da toilet paper toll when it's ON da holder! Ha, mommy got on to me 'n it's NOT ON da holder any more's! Poo! My furvurite toy is Milo's two Tunnels! Dey rock! Specially wif ballies 'n mousies inside! Oh 'n Milo's Turbo ball scratcer! I love's it lots! Hmm still not shur we gonna has a tree up dis year, mommy may jus put a lil fake one up wif nothin' on it, it's all white anyfur. Keep it on da floor mommy! I will be ALL into it!~ hehehe!~I agree wif MoeMoe, I want dat Kitty Circus, wonner how sturdy it is? I get really REALLY rough on toys!! OMC I really want dat kitty tree, It's GORGEOUS! Ha, but dat price goes 'bove 'n beyond efen my pawsome Paw's pockey book dis year! Drats! Merry Catmus sweet Gris!~ *Mallee blow sweet kitten kisses* You know, Mallee - that might not be a bad idea. About putting up the tree with nothing on it. The pawrents went artificial some years back. They got a pretty good 7 ft artificial one that the Mama has to put together every year. The drawbacks, of course, are that it isn't real and there's no mistaking it and it doesn't have that delicious pinescent. The pluses are that it isn't real :); it doesn't need trimming, watering, possible guy wires to make sure it doesn't topple over (been there, done that!); you can bend the branches if needed to make it fit into the space you want it; it won't drop pine needles; and when the season is done, you store the ornaments and lights, dismantle the tree and store it in it's box for next year! And really, it IS pretty without the ornaments and lights. |
