Hello, Is my mic on?
It was a good day!September 18th 2011 4:29 pm[ View A Comments (18) ]
Guess what! Zoe must have been sleeping under the bed cause i was playing with Zach's bird on the bed and she jumped up and walked right (I'm touching bellies right beside me)and she didn't even realized it till Mom grabbed me. So Zoe then laid down on one side and watched me play, as long as I didn't get to close she didn't hiss and it was a nice hiss too! She even yawned and then I yawned. She started to go to sleep with me right in front of her! Mommie Chris says our relationship is coming on nicely.
Who argues against the Packers?! Pshaw! Go Pack! Glad to hear you're fitting in well - Zach will come around soon! Sounds like things area going great with your new family! I am looking forward to looking through all your pictures but I haven't gotten a chance. You look like a cute little kitten like we were not too long ago! We hope Zach and Zoe get used to you being there and will start liking you too. Tell your Mom that is great news that Tux is doing better. Mom over here is doing the happy dance all excited for you guys! Mom wants to know how big are you now? Yep...Packers got a win today! Glad Tux is doing better, it is nice to hear some good news! Purrs that Grandma feels better. (Hey...it works for us!) Keep working on Zach...he'll come around. Mommie just knows that there are to many new variables with the Panthers this year and come on it's the Packers! Go Pack! I accidentally peed on the sofa while I was out tonight. My door was open but I was to busy playing. Any suggestions? Hey Griswold! You can tell your Mom I'm approximately 5lbs. We are about 4 months old now. Ooops. Maybe you forgot where the box was or you were just too busy having fun. You can try having Mom or Dad put you in your litter box about 15 minutes after you eat. And have them take your paw and scrape at the litter. You may actually not go, probably you will jump right out. But it reinforces instinct to bathroom after eating. Have them put you in before you go out to play in another room, just in case. Maybe it was just an isolated incident. I had drank some of Diamond's water. mommie Chris just didn't think about it. She says she'll thank about it tomorrow. MOM- Skylar, I'm so rusty at raising kits, thanks for helping. No problem. It seems that's all we do around here, every summer we seem to pick up one or two more kitties. We drew the line this year...we are at our max. It is always a good idea to keep kittens in a small area until they are fully litterbox trained. Having too much space they don't know where to go. If your Mom notices you digging (if you do that) that is a sign that you need to go, so she can whisk you away to the litterbox. And yes as Skylar said you can put them in the litterbox a little after eating and also after sleeping for long periods. Mom has also heard to make sure they can't hid under furniture - such as beds and couches - as they can make a habit of peeing under the bed if not fully trained. Glad you had a good day Gris! Blade, this is Mom. I got your pmail btw just haven't gotten around to pmail you back. The night before he was laying where he peed, so I thought he was just getting comfortable. When we potty trained Diamond we started taking her water bowl and food bowl up after a certain time. So she would have no accidents during the night. It worked too. Now obviously he's a kitten and he is still eating little bits through out the day so I can't take his bowls away but maybe I can wait till he goes to the bathroom after dinner and let him out then. Plus while he's out playing I could take up Diamonds water bowl. I do need to work on him knowing where his litter box is. He is using it with no accidents when he is confined in his room. So it could be he was just to busy playing or didn't think of where to go. I think he was to busy. It just takes time and a little bit of work. Jez, you are so great. It's already been said, but I'll add that when I was just a baby (I was bottle-fed, like Blade and some others here on Catster that we know), Mama at first, of course, had to take care of my elimination needs with a damp cloth. But early on, she started putting me in the litter box immediately after I'd eat. And she'd help me scratch with my paw for a second, to give me the idea. Mommie Chris said she'll makes sure I do my business before I come out from now on. She has done the paw scratchy thing, I didn't like that but she still does it. I was just to busy, playing! She brings me out an hour at a time about twice a day. Plus she visits me in my room a lot. Next week she's going back to work :( She said I might still be in the bathroom even then (for my safety from Zach). She's also keeping an eye on Diamond but Diamond was out with me last night and she seems to be afraid of me. Dad said "to many smackey paws from Zach and Zoe over the years" Diamond even let me play with her tail. Mom has got some pictures. Skylar, your Mommie can call me hers. I could be her God kitty sense she isn't getting anymore. Mommie Chris said I'm the Last of the Mohicans too, for a long long time. Glad to hear you're making progress with the other members of the family. Thrilled to hear that you're going to be a fellow Packer fan!! Oh sweet baby kitten that is so kool Zoe is so nice, see i told you my BFF is a sweetheart, who knows she might even start acting like your furmom, sometimes we do that ya know. Pawsome news about tux! Mommie Chris said she hopes Zoe does take care of me like a furmom and she has a feeling that once Zach quits being a hinny that we will be best buds, maybe. Either way, I know Diamond loves me! I'll do a update tonight. |
