Quick Bio:

Tortoiseshell and white

Punkin likes to just be left alone most of the time. If he wants to be petted, he'll come and find you!

Punkin doesn't like for anyone to get to close to him, especially the dogs. He'll let out this tiny baby cry if one of them is even a foot too close!

Favorite Toy:
Punkin LOVES the laser pointer. He'll chase the little red dot for hours if I'd let my husband play for that long.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Punkin is our little "ninja", hiding in spots that take us a while to find, but his favorite spot is on one of the window ledges in the breakfast nook, behind the drapes, looking out on the deck.

Favorite Food:
Punkin loves his breath treats that he gets after having his toenails trimmed. Too bad they don't really help his breath that much. :)

Punkin is VERY good at opening cabinet and drawers! At our previous house, we had to child-proof the kitchen and guest bathroom so that he wouldn't get into them.

Arrival Story:
My husband and I were at Petco buying pet food for our other 3 animals (Sam, Mitch, and Momo) when we saw Punkin in the adoption area. He was the only kitty there and he looked so sad. My mom has a real love for calicoes, so seeing Punkin's coloring drew me to him and then when we read that he was a MALE tortie, my husband said, "We have to have him," so we contacted the adoption group and adopted him that day!! His original name was Baloney but we knew that wasn't going to work and changed his name to Punkin for the fall season that matched his coloring.

We don't know if it's because he's a male tortie, but Punkin's a bit of a strange kitty. He's a loner, not really wanting to be around the other cats, and has the random acts of craziness where he'll just take off running across the room or down the hallway, as if he's playing with someone or something. We've moved 4 times in the length of time that we've had him and it's the same story everywhere we go. He's really a funny guy!
