Arrival Story:
Amber belonged to a friend of a friend who was moving into an apartment that didn't allow any pets. I didn't want her taken to a shelter so I said we'd adopt her even though my landlord also said no pets. My first husband had just passed so I put a very heavy guilt trip on the landlord to allow us just one pet. And so we adopted Amber! Later on, my daughter desperately wanted a kitty of her own and so after Christmas 2002 we adopted Mouse.

Bio:
Amber was a big kitty for 9 months but she hadn't stopped growing! I would love to know if she's got Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest cat in her but that's just because I'm curious. Amber is sweet and loving but only with me. :)
