Rescue baby! We brought her home, and since we were sure we weren't keeping her, we called her "the kitten" for several weeks, but no one came looking for her and I didn't want to take her to the pound and wait in fear there, so we kept her at the house. She just kind of fit right into our family and is so sweet and laid back!

Momo's Moments

Skylar...the new fur kid....

I don't know why Tonka puts up with her. She's so annoying and smells funny and likes to chase me! I'm a chill cat. I don't like the crazy antics of the baby at all. But, being the demure feline I am, we have come to a truce of sorts that she only forgets when my brother decides to play with her. At least it keeps Tonka out of my fur more. I guess I can't complain TOO much, can I?

Diary of the Day??!!

Wow! I'm so excited! I have no idea how I got picked for such a great honor! I mean...I only have one diary entry...and I've only been on Catster for a little while! I'm so excited! Wait...I already said that. Oops.
Anyway, here's another little update. Moving day is getting closer, and Mom has tried hiding my box from me by stacking it with other boxes. That's no problem. I can still climb into it and shred the remaining paper.
Mom has put me on a diet as well. I'm not very happy about it, but I've been running around a lot more and Tonka doesn't seem quite as annoying lately. In fact, I've been getting in on his rough-housing games and his chase games. Except yesterday. I'd been running and tumbling with him all day and was ready for a nap and he kept pestering me. I warned him again and again that I was tired and to leave me alone and finally slapped him when he kept pestering. Mom told me to apologize and that I wasn't being very nice. But he was being mean to me first!
Mom still insisted. Moms...what to do with them?

New to Catster and My Thoughts on Moving Boxes

If you've read my annoying brother's entry, I'm sure you know we are new to Catster. But while he was telling about the new fur kid, which I'm not totally thrilled about, he neglected to mention that we are also moving. I like car rides and seeing new places, so that doesn't bother me. In fact, I think this whole moving business is very fun.
There are soooooooo many boxes to explore! And some of them have paper inside that is fun to bury in and shred to pieces...our mom doesn't like that too much, but it's fun when she doesn't know we are doing it! However, the empty boxes are getting scarce. So this morning, I took it upon myself to reserve one for my use.
I grabbed the box by some old tape and started dragging it across the living room, intent on hiding it so I could keep it. But it was too much work and I've decided that I will just sit in this box every time Mom tries to use it. Hopefully it will stay safe that way.
Moving is fun!
