Arrival Story:
We had just moved into a house in 2000, and already had one older cat. But, there's nothing like a kitten. So, we decided to go look at some. There were 3, but we decided on this cute little, fuzzy baby boy. So, we took him home, and boy was he a little devil!

Bio:
After he made himself right at home, he decided to cause all sorts of trouble. He would hide in the chair, and wait for our older cat to walk by, so he could jump on her. He would take his paw, and scoop dirt out of the plant and throw the dirt onto the carpet. He would swing on the curtains. But, even with all his devilish acts, I was so taken with him. We did, however, have to get him a buddy his own age to play with. Things were great for several years. Lots of fun and love, he also liked to sleep right next to my pillow at night. There was only one problem, he wanted outside. We "catproofed" our fence, in the backyard. Or, so we thought. He escaped one day, and we thought everything was fine. But, I noticed he didn't want to eat. I tried for a few days, but nothing. He wouldn't drink any water and his eyes started looking funny. I rushed him to the Animal Hospital on a Saturday morning, in October. He had to stay there for several days, so that they could run tests and keep him on an IV. I went there every day, hoping he would get better. They still aren't sure what really happened, except maybe he drank some contaminated water, somewhere. At first they said he was better, but they wanted to run more tests. After 4-5 days of pure Hell, he went into kidney failure. He passed away at the end of October, 2004. I held his lifeless body in my arms, all the way home. We buried him under his favorite bush and marked the spot with rocks. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to my favorite boy. He was the first baby that me and my husband had gotten together, and 4 years was not long enough to have him with me. I still am not over losing him, and it will be painful for a very long time (maybe forever). I know that he had a happy life, and that I did everything that I could to save him. I miss him so much. I love you, Bubba.
