Arrival Story:
In June 2011 I traveled to a cat rescue outside of Kansas City MO called The Katty Shack. I was actually there to pick up a different Himalayan female which I named Maddelena Suh. However I felt a need to take the cat I would then name Eloise as well. So I did. As it turns out Maddelena had contracted the deadly FIP virus before she had arrived at the rescue, and shortly after we arrived home and she realized was in a safe and loving home she fell victim to her illness and had to be put to sleep. I was so thrilled to have known her, and that she spent her last 3 weeks being loved and cared for as she should have been her whole life. Eloise is what got me through that extremely depressing time. She is a wonderful cat who was absolutely meant to be here.
