Arrival Story:
We found Fiona running across the street at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She was meowing her head off. She hid under some bushes to get away from some children who were very interested in her. Her daddy watched over her while I went to the hospital snack bar to get her some food. I returned with a Subway roast beef sandwich (no bread; just beef) and a bottle of milk. A kind lady went to her office and brought back an HP printer box so we could get her out of the bushes. She let her new daddy pick her up and put her in the box. We were able to get a vet appointment right away! Aside from a deep cut on her face, she checked out OK!
