Arrival Story:
My precious baby Turbo passed away after some congenital health complications make him really sick :( He left behind a beautiful sister, Tigger and she was a bit lonely and missed her playmate. My wife and I contacted an animal shelter one county over, they had a listing on Craigslist then I checked out their website, they were flooded with kittens and had a reduced adoption fee. We filled out an online application and after they called my references (I was impressed the actually did that) they called me to let me know we were approved. We drove out to look at the kitties on Tuesday August 2, 2011 and Athena picked us immediately. She came right up to me and when I picked her up she nuzzled right into me and starting purring super loud. I handed her off to my wife, Jolanda and continued to visit the rest of the kittens. I turned around to ask my wife which one she liked but she was already half way to the car with Athena ;) So our little Turbo sent us a wonderful new addition to our family and a new sister for his sister :)
Bio:
My vet told me she is a classic brown tabby due to the marble swirls she has on her sides and they generally get fairly large, he has two at home :) I think he may be right, she has fairly large paws to grow into and she weights barely less than her sister Tigger, who is 5 weeks older.
