Arrival Story:
I fostered this kitty for the Southwest Michigan SPCA. The goal is to give the kitties a safe environment to live in until they can be placed into homes or pet stores. A woman I work with was interested in Tux because she wanted a companion cat for her black and white cat name Chaplin. We went through the adoption process for Tux, and I explained what a wonderful laid back cat he was, and how I though he would have the perfect personality for her home. She picked up Tux and took him home. Later that night she called me in a panic because Tux was acting like a complete maniac! He was racing up and down the stairs meowing, upsetting her cat Chaplin, making her nervous, etc. I had to come and get him in the middle of the night! What a goof ball! Come to find out, he just didn't want to leave us. He had become attached to my husband and our other cats. Luckily, one of my other fosters became a wonderful pet for my friend at work, so Chaplin was able to have a playmate afterall. It just wasn't meant to be Tux! --
