So time for another on my health, wow my humans are great. Finally my consultant called my humans to discuss my latest x-ray results and I have been given the all clear, I no longer have to live in the crate which has made us all happy. Because I have been so good my humans let us have a Christmas present early............ it's a HUGE scratch post me and mummy use it lots but Uncle Cheech don't care too much about it but he keeps making our humans scream bringing them presents home I like it coz he lets me play too.
My consultant said the cysts in my stomach are not a problem and anymore and they don't have to be removed but if the vet can get to them when I get spayed then they can come out.
Am I the only Kittie who at 5 months old was given a consultant?? Seems strange but we are sending him some pictures soon so that he can see how big I am now, my humans keep saying they can never thank him enough for what he did to help me and something about I have now used up 1 of my 9 lives.............
Thank you for reading and I will update when necessary

Today I went for my follow up appointment for a repeat x-ray. My vet and my humans were so happy as since I was last there my weight has doubled, for me this is a good sign. On the other paw I have to stay in my crate until the specialist has seen the x-ray for comparison to check the fracture is healing and my bone density has increased enough for me to have surgery in the new year.
Today I am 6 months old and we all hope more good news is yet to come.
I will keep you all updated on my progress.

3 weeks ago I was taken to the vets as my back was hurting. After a weekend of very strong painkillers I was finally admitted to The Queen Mother hospital for Animals where I stayed for 3 days. They found that I have 2 deformed vertebrae 1 of them has a fracture, 2 cysts in my stomach and something about my thyroid and to top it all I have a very low bone density......
Im now living in a very large dog crate for at least 6 weeks for my back to heal and I have started eating cat food, I had to have tablets at first to increase my appetite but now I dont need them which has made my humans very happy. I want to come out and play now but im not allowed.
In 2 weeks time I have another x-ray to check my bone density is increasing and see how the fracture is healing. And hopefully in the new year I will be able to have the surgery I need to remove the cysts but my vet said they will remove them when I get spayed so I will have just 1 big surgery rather than 2 small ones.
Im now getting big - when I was at the vets I only weighed 1.65kg at 4 months old but my humans say I weigh more than that now as sometimes they get me out for a cuddle or I just look at them and cry.
I will keep this updated on my progress but the vet is not worried about me anymore and neither are my humans :) xxxxxx
