So, first I will start with a bit about me.
I went to live with my humans in January 2011 after one of their cats went to rainbow bridge and Cheech was so depressed they just didnt know what else to do to make him happy again. Before I came to live here I wasn't treated very well at all, but within 4 weeks of being in my new home I went from a wild, skittish cat to a human loving cat they taught me to trust again.
I still get scared when strangers come to visit and really don't like children - they move to fast.
On 26th May 2011 I had my first litter and my humans said that I was going to the vets once they were old enough (our vet wont spay until the litter is fully weaned) I had 3 kittens but only 2 survived. My little girl still lives with us and her name is Temperance but my little boy Bubbles lives with the only other human I trust and they sometimes come to visit.
On 13th September 2011 I had another litter, my humans helped me a bit this time as I was getting tired but this time I have 4 kittens. I had the last of the litter at 5.30am by that time we were all very tired but my humans said they were very proud of me so I let them see my babies. One of them looked poorly so off to the vet we went. We were told he/she has an umbilical hernia - he/she was born so fast that the sack burst on arriving and ripped the umbilical cord right off :( The good news is the vet said he/she is very strong and is not concerned so I let my humans clean the area twice a day like the vet said, worse case scenario it might have to have an operation but they wont do that until he/she is 2 months old. My humans have said I am doing much better with this litter and all the babies already have homes to go to when they are old enough.
The vet did say that all the kittens are very strong and look good so now we are just hoping that the baby with the hernia stays strong and can have the operation if needed.
