Arrival Story:
Sundance (shelter name: Tiger) was a kitten when he was found in a parking lot by a kind lady who brought him to the Benld Adopt-A-Pet animal shelter. I was at the shelter that day, adopting Shade when Sundance was brought in. I saw his golden coloring and his golden eyes and said I have to have him, too!

Bio:
Sundance visits residents at our local nursing home. He rotates with Shade and Shannara, going once a week, along with my Collie, Amber. He is great, sitting on the resident's lap or on their bed and goes so far as to lean against them. He will sit on the window sill, watching the birds at the feeders while the residents like to watch him. He has his little harness and leash on and stands with his front feet on the edge of his stroller, like a masthead on a sailing ship, as we wheel down the halls. I think that maybe in the future, Sundance will be willing to walk down the hall alongside Amber. Most of the residents like cats as much as dogs, so we all are a welcoming presence at the nursing home. At home, Sundance has grown larger than Shade and has taken over as head cat of the foursome. He still is very loving and cuddly with me.
