I went to our local no-kill shelter looking for kittens. Shade (shelter name: Georgio) was the last of his litter; the others had been adopted. The shelter volunteer suggested Shade because of the gentle and friendly nature of the whole litter. One of the adoptive families had come back after adopting one to get another because of their great personality. I had never had a "plain gray-striped tabby" so on her advice I adopted Shade.
Bio:
I named him Shade after the hero cat, Shade McCorkle.
