Arrival Story:
Bodhi entered the world on a bright June morning. He was breathed into being gently and easily by his rescued mama Sophia. He was number 3 of 6 lovely kittens. His furry mama was a wonderful mother even though she was a very young cat.(we're guessing only 1 year old or so)The moment I saw Bodhi I was in love.....in love with his shiny, buff-colored coat, his tenaciousness at feeding time and his sweet face. Bodhi grew to be a big cat...17 pounds of brawn and brains. He was smart! We have had so many adventures and I could (and should) write a book about this most excellent example of cat-ness. Sadly, Bodhi got cancer and after a short illness, on April 21st, 2011, he slipped quietly from this world...onto his next adventure, hopefully filled with mouses, balls of untangle-able yarn and rivers of sardines. We miss his sweet presence every day.
