My auntie was talking to my former human sister the other day...and guess what? I got a REAL name! My real name is Mackenzie...or Mack for short!
Seems my sister and I were named after the trucking company we were found at...Cambria Mack!!!! MOL!!!!
My new mommy and auntie are still gonna call me Baby Girl...cos that's what I answer to now and it fits...cos me is a big baby!!!
I loves to snuggles with my mommy on the couch at night watching tv.
But when I'm bad...it's Baby Girl Mack!

I came to my new home on July 6, 2011-the night of the day my mom Jessie passed away. My former family couldn't keep me and my sister Cambria for a number of reasons, so my mom's friend and her siter (my new mommy) came and got us and brought us to our new home.
Cambria is still getting used to things, but I feel right at home.
They are keeping my weight down so that I don't have to take insulin anymore. I haven't had to take it in a year!!! The vet says if I stay on wet food and keep losing weight, I won't have to take it anymore!! YAY!!!!
They also changed my name from Fat Girl (I was always big-even as a kitten-I was 17 pounds before I was a year old. My thyroid is OK...they don't know why I got so big) to Baby Girl. Auntie says it's because I'm a big baby and that they don't want me defined by my weight
I hope to make lots of friends here!

Today I went to the vet for my sugar to be checked. It was great 98 they said perfect, they were all happy to see me as they always are. People even took my picture, said I was the biggest kittie they ever seen. the vet put me on the scale, oh no I gained some more weight. I am now 30.6 Lbs. they say feed me less, how could they, I thought they were my friends. I get 1/2 cup twice a day as it is, they cant cut down,, I may starve or something. I tell you if mom cuts down I am gonna do something drastic, maybe a hunger strike mmmmm well maybe not, but something. mom say's one day when she comes home from work there's going to be a piles of hair all over cuz I'm going to explode MOL. we know that wont happen, RIGHT! But I am still pretty healthy and still doing very well all considering.
Big is beautiful

My mom got me when I was about 3 days old. I still had my umbilicord on, I was a tiny baby looking no bigger than a small rat. I was brought in to her job at Petco, a woman now friends with my mom didn't know how to take care of me, I needed everything done for me. I couldn't see, go potty for myself, she did it all. She loved the way I drank my bottle, I would hold it just like a baby. The man in the house said I couldn't stay, mom said just till I am big enough to go to a forever home. I kept growing and growing. At 5 month I was brought to the vet to be spayed. After my surgery they couldn't believe how big I was, I already weighed 15 Lbs. well they yelled at my mom, I was put on a diet well guess what? I kept growing just to spite them. I was happy, quite the big talk , everyone that came over would laugh and make stupid remarks, mom didn't let them though. Every where I go people make stupid remarks, I don't like it, they hurt my feelings, mom tells them if they can't say anything nice than don't talk in front of me.
March 5 2008, I was diagnosedwith diabeties,(No fun) weekly I was going to have my sugar checked. Sometimes in the 400's. I was put on insulin, after months of this I am finally regulated, and my vet visits are down to every 4 months. I cant wait til I'm back to just yearly.they tried to put me on a diet, but I just refused to eat. The vet just gave in and said feed me what ever I would ear, now thats living. mommy does watch though I can't sneak any more dog food which I miss very much. I weigh in today at 28.7 Lbs. Who said big is beautiful knew just what they were talking about. I AM BIG AND BEAUTIFUL. If you can lift me I will hug you with all my might. I love people and my life. The vets love me when they see me comming they say "Here comes Fat Girl" they tell me how much they love me, I know they really mean it.
