Quick Bio:
-cat rescue

Playing fetch and wrestling with his brother Stewy.

Having the bedroom door closed on his 4AM arias and being fed late.

Favorite Toy:
His black ratty baby and black hair rubber bands. (Don't worry we use strong ones and watch him closely to prevent swallowing.)

Favorite Nap Spot:
Behind the cushions on the back of the couch. We have to check before sitting down so we don't lean back smash him.

Favorite Food:
Bacon! Or tortilla chips.

He's a puzzle solver. Loves opening cabinets and drawers, weasling things out of closed containers, and sneaking stuff he knows he's not supposed to have. (Like bacon...)

Arrival Story:
One day while my husband was leaving work he heard a tiny mewling sound coming from a dumpster in the parking lot behind his office building. Curious, he peered inside and saw a box that had been coated with several layers of silver duct tape, and inside he found a pillowcase that had been taped closed. Inside that was a tiny black kitten. Initially we took him in thinking that we would find a suitable home to pass him to, but he and our Stewy took to each other right away, and by the time we had nursed him back to health we just couldn’t bear to let him go.

Boogie loves music, I’m not sure why, maybe it’s our fault for naming him after a Led Zeppelin song. (Boogie with Stu from Physical Grafiti) Whenever we have music on he gets frisky, zooms around the house, skidding around corners and ambushing his brother. If we start singing, sometimes he will sing along. He sings by himself too, usually around dawn. Initially we thought he was just hungry, or wanting attention, but he doesn’t show any interest in food or snuggles. He just likes to walk around the house mowsing, chirping, and howling. When we close the bedroom door he mashes his nose beneath and croons to us through the crack. It is a bit annoying sometimes, but it’s part and parcel of who he is and we love him, arias and all.

Snuffle Grass

This summer we've decided to have the gardener come every other week as opposed to every week, and the grass in the back gets a bit longer than the boys are used to in between visits. Boog keeps poking himself in the nose when he ooches down to snuffle for bugs and the result is a three-pack of quick little sneezes and a head shake. It's almost exactly the same every time. He keeps looking over at me, ears akimbo, and it really seems as though he isn't quite sure what is causing him to get all twitchy. I've got to try and catch this on video. It's adorable.
