Teija is nicknamed the little nursemaid because she never leaves your side if you are feeling down or sick. When we brought our new puppy home, she took it under her wing right away (see pic)

Arrival Story:
I had been jonesing for another cat for some time but kept running into brick walls when it came to finding a kitten (I don't believe in buying cats from pet stores). My neighbours did fostering for a rescue agency and had an email come their way about a little black kitten found on someone's doorstep who needed a home. I went to see her and it was love at first purr!

Bio:
Teija is the most loving and affectionate, easygoing cat I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She has a mischevious streak left over from her kittenhood but otherwise is extremely well behaved. Teija thinks that everyone should love her and she loves everybody, but she always makes sure I know she loves me best. When she first met 'the boys' (cats) she used to mount them and hold them down to prove her spot in the hierarchy. That's m'girl! One of the pics include one of when we first brought our puppy Vinnie home. She curled around him on her momma's lap and stayed there while he slept for an hour. When he woke up, she groomed his face and then played with him. She's an exceptional momma, even though she's never had kittens.
