Arrival Story:
Miss Willow came to me when I lived on a farm. Her mother was inbred and slightly deranged and kept moving her three kittens into a calf pen that had a (very skittish) calf in it. Her brothers were smushed and she ended up with a scraped up leg. My ex-sister-in-law brought her to my door and of course I had to take her in. She was only a week old and I bottle fed her. She slept on my shoulder as a baby, suckling against my neck. To this day, 14 years later, she likes to be up by my face and nuzzling in my hair.

Bio:
Miss Willow is the fierce protector and Matriarch of our leetle family. She has saved Murphy (the dog) from a pitbull before, she has attacked a cat that attacked her Mom and stands vigil over us all. She is my number #1 girl always, and as such gets special attention to ensure other pets know their place with her. Willow was hit by a car when she was a few years old and now that she's older has some pain in her hip and limps a bit if she's too active. She's also diabetic and has shots twice a day. Again, she takes all this in stride. She's an exceptional kitty! After 13 years with me, she now lives with my parents. They took her to 'babysit' when I went on vacation and now won't give her back! We joke about it, but I have allowed her to stay because she gets so much individual attention with my Mom home during the day. I don't believe in allowing cats outside, but my parent's have a huge yard and Willow mostly just wants to lie on the deck in a comfy chair in a sunbeam. It's the perfect life for her.
