Thanks catster for making my moma Ivey kitty a DDP. Thanks also to every kitty that stopped by with loving care, and understanding words. IT really helps to share this time with kitty moms and dads that know how tough this is. Thank you for all the pretty pictures, and pawmails.

Today when I got the email that my Ivey kitty was a DDP it put me in mind of her first ever diary honor it was DOTD and she had only been off the streets and in her new home for a few weeks and she was so happy even though she was still segregated from the family she knew mom would be in to care for her and love on her..it was such a happy time. I find my self thinking and longing for the past days when she was here...guess that is one of the ways I come to terms with the loss. I wish you could have known her she was just so sweet even after all bad, painful and scary stuff she had been through in this life.

One day I know I "speak" for her again right now it just seems to hard. I know this will get better.

Aww, Moma Ivey's mommy. It's so hard when you lose one of us. She may have had a tough time of it, but the last part of her life was filled with love and warmth, a full bowl, and never having to worry about her safety ever again. You made a big difference in her life.

Did nor get by to say how sweet to have DDP yesterday, but it was a very touching thing. We all did not get to see Moma face face, but we did know her and her kind and gentle heart. a kitty so full of love and affection even after such a tough life. We are to thankful that she found the love and security of your home. Gone too soon, but you and she are in each other's hearts forever.

Though she had a hard life, the last part of it was filled with love and affection. She will always remember that, and just as she will always be in your hearts, you will also forever be in hers.

I think we missed her diary pick yesterday. The thing that always impressed me the most about her, maybe even inspired us all, was her capacity for love along with your family giving her that opportunity. Sometimes humans seem all too quick to judge and then deem someone as less worthy of their time or affection or even care because of their past or their present circumstances. Just think what people miss out on when they don't give others a chance. Sorry, I don't mean to ramble on, but her life just touched my heart profoundly.

Ivey was an inspiration to us. A discarded cat who was rescued and loved for the rest of her life. Even if it was short you gave her what she needed. You made her life worth living again.

Dear Moma Ivey 'n furmilies, You are free, although you came here to Heaven much to early 'n much to soon!~ Our families have cried 'n felt so bad 'n so sorry fur your sweet mom!! We cannot put into words how much love we have for you all!! Just know, that you are here with me, as well as ALL your Angel Families of dear furiends! We will watch over our famillies now, so give me your paw, sweetheart, we'll fly over your's 'n my families home 'n sprinkle brighest, golden glowing lovable dusties down on them, so they KNOW in their hearts you are loved and we love them!!~ They will go on, but we must keep watch! That is what we do here in heaven!! We will be the best Guardian Angels efur! Skids 'n Alley are here with us now 'n we are all together keeping each other company! Together united!! Just remember dear mommy, Heaven is far away, but heaven is in your hearts 'n we will go on!!
