Dusty's mom, Willow, is a feral who has lived around our porch for a year. Her mom, Smokey, also was a regular in the neighborhood. Smoky went missing in May 2011, and Willow started nursing Smokey's kittens too. Little Dusty, the runt of Willow's litter, was hungry and being neglected, but was very sweet and affectionate to us humans, so when he was 6 weeks old, we brought him in the house and adopted him. from day one, he has been happy, healthy, playful, and very lovable.
