Fellow cats..the petition is about three poor cats who have suffered in the name of medical training at UVA. The petition letter states that this is not necessary and that there is much better ways for this form of training. I have the cover letter in my diary tonight. They are using the cats to teach how to put breathing tubes in babies. The thing is they have dummy babies for that. The petition explains it all but the dummy babies are made to be more realistic. Also, the petition states this procedure has been done to the cats up to twenty times a day! 95% of the Universities use the dummies instead of animals. Its so sad that they still do this stuff!
