Mom went to the store and got us some new toys!! She said I was hogging the other one and it wasn't fair for Moppie. So she got 2 of each so that we have our own, that is fair right? Well I'm not quite so sure... I am playin with my new toy and he is playing with his, I growl and walk over to him and smacky paw him for looking at me. He isn't allowed to look at my when I'm playin with my favorite toy!! That doesn't mean I don't love him, I do, there is no doubt about it, but it is MY toy!!

I am a DDP Today!! Thanks diary girl for picking our diary today! Thanks to all our furiends who are always awesome and and always here for us.

Thank you Simba, Rex, Max, Bugsy and family for the pirate flag!! I know it wasn't for the DDP but I wanted to send out our thanks to you!

Unkie Milo, thanks so much for the pirate flag you gave me! Love you Unkie Milo ♥

- Thanks Tate for the delicious cupcake!
- Thanks MILO, Smokey Joe, Sam, Timmy 'n Ziggy for the fancy blue ribbon.
- Thanks Sleeper and Samhain for the big red heart. Looking forward to pirate day too!
- Thanks Unkie Milo for the Awesome picture you made me! I will put it up ASAP. ♥
- Tink thanks for the delicious ice cream!

Thanks for all the comments, I love reading comments all of you leave us!

Its super cold here. It was good weather for so long in a row and it is back to rain rain rain... We don't mind since we don't go outside but Mom says it is cold and we agree that it isn't as warm as normal.

We're gonna hand our diary over to Mom, she has a question to ask your Moms...

Mom: Almighty, so I was hoping that this wasn't going to happen... At work ringworm has been going around with all the humans, and I really didn't think I was going to get it. But I think I may have...

So my question is do you guys have any experience with ringworm? Is there any way I can keep Blade and Moppie from getting it? Is it hard to get rid of on them if they get it? I am not super worried yet as it is only in the Beginning stages on me so they don't have it yet, but from my understanding it is very contagious. And since my kittens are always in my bedroom which is where I spend half my time I'm thinking the likelihood they'd get it would be fairly high... Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks ♥

Hey little Blade (of Thor),
Yay for being a DDP today! I hope you're having a fun day. Your new toys sound like a lot of fun. Our mom doesn't know too much about ringworm, but we have heard something about cats being more immune to it when they are generally healthier and eating a better diet - but we don't know much about it. I hope you kitties don't get it. Purrs...

Happy Diary Pick Blade of Thor!

I'm glad you are having fun with your new toy. I have a favorite toy and I leave it on the bed sometimes! Right now I can't find it; I think it rolled away to hide!

Love Tyson xo

Glad you are having fun with your toys little nephers Blade.
It also sounds like you are an orange alpha kitty in the making! Your bro will just have to live with it!
I have no doubt you love him, cause us orangies are all about love, love, love!

Oh sorry about the ringworm. I don't know much about it, except that it is highly contagious!
Washing hands a lot is one good measure other than that I don't know. Good lucky and keep us updated?

Congrats on being a diary pick mate. Can't help you with the ringworm but it doesn't sound good so I'll send purrs your way that the ring worm goes away quickly. Have fun with your new toys and make sure you play nicely with Moppie.

I'm sorry to give you bad news, but ringworm can be difficult, because any of you can be re-infected from fungal spores in the air. Once one of you has it, the others are likely to get it. It can take up to a year to get rid of it. This is done with antifungals: topical, oral, cleaning. Bleach is the cheapest for cleaning but make sure it is well-ventilated around the kitties. Periodically(doesn't have to be EVERY time), wash all bedding with antifungal. The clinic can give you the topical and oral. I believe MISSY or someone in her furmily recently had it and seemed to get rid of it rather easily, considering they have 5 cats. You may want to send a message to see if they have any advice. She is 1082342. I'm sure you've seen them around! Good Luck!! Luv, Tink & Snow

Glad to hear you have some new toys. Concats on being a DDP.

I don't have a ton of information on ringworm, but I'll share what Mom and Dad do when there is ringworm where they volunteer. It seems to work because we haven't gotten it yet (paws crossed)

Wash your clothes right away. If possible, change before you go in the house and then put your clothes in the wash right away.

Good luck!

Thanks for the concats on my DDP!

Tink Thanks for the info I will message Missy and see if she has any advice for us. Mom is furusterated because she decided to tell a co-worker who also had it to see if she had advice and she just claims that there is no way Mom got it from her since she nefur touched Mom! Sayin that it is only contagious through direct contact. PPFFFFFTTT, HRRUUMMFFF... ARRRRGGGG (MOL, had to fit that in there somewhere). She won't listen to Mom... I think she is feeling defensive but she is also never easily persuaded. So maybe she just doesn't want to hear the truth. We don't know but Mom is furusterated about it. She didn't do anything to keep her cats from getting it and just says they don't have it and won't get it. Anyways, Mom wants to do anything she can to keep it away from us because she doesn't want us to spread it around too. We may as well get rid of it ASAP if possible. Only problem is we've got carpets efurywhere, so it is harder to clean.

Little dude, I just had to come by.... Your mom should tell her co-worker to ask Mr Google. He knows all! (Yea, OK,some sites are more trustworthy than others) The thing is ringworm is NOT spread only by DIRECT CONTACT! It spreads by touching objects the infected person has TOUCHED!!
Sheesh! Why are some humans so stubborn?
Good luck!
Sending orange hugs to your mom :)

THAT'S REALLY NICE OF UR MOM FUR GETTING U GUYS NEW TOYS!! CONCATS ON UR DDP!! and also HAPPY TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY!!! and about the ringworm thingy - go straight to the vet!! the vet might give u vaccines/other medications to get rid of them!! at least that's how I got rid of them. Simon and Tony knows that i had probs with worms and we used to pass mails about it fur a long time and the only thing worked was the vet!!

Milo I totally agree! But she'll have none of that! Those people just NEED to know everything and if they think they are wrong they will refuse till they have their way...

Hey Tao! Thanks for the advice, since they don't have it yet I will likely wait though. And as much as Ringworm sounds like a worm surprisingly it isn't, it is actually a fungus. It isn't exactly the same. I will definitely be taken to the vet for treatment meds when I have it though unless Mom can get it from them without taking me...
