I knew I wanted a pet, but really wasn't sure what kind. As an admited girly-girl, I thought, "Squee, how about a kitten?!". So, I went to the animal shelter, and all the little furry babies were cute, but I saw Queso and he was just different. So, I asked if I could walk into the area where he and his four or five siblings were and met all the white fluff-balls. The rest were spunky, hyper and adorable. They chased each other, and batted my hair, but Queso just curled up in my lap and purred -- I knew he was the one then and there. So, I said, "I'll take him!" and the rest is history!

Hey! I'm Queso Blanco! I was born on Cinco de Mayo, which is a Mexican holiday, which is why my name is in Spanish. Literally, it means "white cheese".
I am a super loving cat. If you hold still, I will sit in your lap as long as you will pet me -- but, beware, I tend to leave pretty white fur wherever I roam. I purr if you look at me the right way and I am very agreeable, you can hold me anyway you want and I will just sit there and be your best friend. I love kids and grown-ups, just don't move too quick -- I am a little shy. I love to bat at long hair, so be careful not to dangle it off the edge of the couch. I am really sweet and playful, so let's be friends!
