Arrival Story:
Freddie and Kaly met when Kaly was hired by Freddie's human family as a nanny for their newborn daughter, Emily. Freddie immediately began to bond with Kaly because she loved kitties so much and gave him lots of attention when his human family was too busy for him. During this time, when Kaly was working for Freddie's family, Freddie lost his beloved sister to illness and became depressed as a result. Kaly helped Freddie recover by giving him lots of pettings and brushings and by sweet-talking him, which seemed to make Freddie feel special. Tragedy struck again when Freddie's owner's oldest daughter developed severe asthmatic cat allergies and Freddie's family of thirteen years was forced to give him up. Naturally, Freddie was offered to Kaly because she and Freddie liked each other so much. In early April 2011, Freddie's owner delivered Freddie and all his cat belongings to Kaly's home. Kaly immediately set up all of Freddie's things and let Freddie out of his cat crate. At first, Freddie was very timid in his new environment, but with lots of petting and sweet talk, Freddie was coaxed out of his hiding places and began to explore his new territory. Now, Freddie is a very contented and well-behaved cat. He and Kaly get along so well, in fact, that Kaly plans to bring him with her to another state for art school in the fall. Just to make sure Freddie has the companionship he needs when she's away in class, Kaly plans to introduce Freddie to a new sister, Princess, when they arrive at their new home. Princess currently belongs to a friend of Kaly's who will be joining the navy in several months. If Freddie and Princess are found to be compatible, Princess will be joining the family just as Kaly begins her art school classes.

We have excellent news to report on the kitty-front! Freddie the cat has officially graduated from diet cat food back to normal adult cat food. Kaly is very proud of him for losing weight and she has decided to plan a very special Thanksgiving dinner for him this coming November. In further news, we has made mooch progress in turning Freddie into a cuddly lap cat. Check out videos of Freddie on youtube. Just search for username "Poptartdom" (no quotations) and you should be able to find Freddie's videos. If not, let us know and we'll see if we can provide a direct link. Cheers!

Kaly got out of surgery today to prevent arthritis in her ankle and Freddie has been a wonderful therapy cat. He's been by Kaly's side on and off since she got home, letting her pet him and taking her mind off the pain in her ankle. Kaly is thinking about bringing Freddie to nursing homes for community service, since he's such a sweetie and could bring a smile to just about any ill face.
