Arrival Story:
I just adopted Idol today from a no kill shelter. I picked her up from her foster mom, who takes care of many kitties. She is so rambunctious, so precious, and so active. She is a doll and I fell in love with her right away. I brought her home and she just took over everything. Jake & Chuwey are not very accepting of her yet. She is so lovable and sociable, so far, but they feel intimidated. I have to show them extra love these days, and hope they adjust to the new addition. Update: Idol has been with us a week and I have never in my life seen such a kitty with more energy and pep in my whole life. She can be so sweet when she is ready to go to sleep, but otherwise, she is so mischievous and fresh, and I have to peel her off the walls. She is so adorable, how can I not love that tiny little face. Update: We have Peanut (formerly known as Idol) for almost a month now. She has a beautiful, kind personality, for a kitten. We have never, ever seen a kitty so active and non stop energy in our lives. That face is so adorable, and the love we have for her is so strong. She is our little baby girl. Jake loves her, and cleans her like a mommy (but he is a big brother). She rides Jake like a horse, and then he gets annoyed, but he adores and protects her. Mr. Chuwey is having a little difficult time accepting her. Peanut thinks she is a giant kitty and chases, play attacks Chuwey and swats him. He is not too happy with that. When I am not looking, I see him playing with her though.

My Lexi passed away almost 2 months now, and it left such a hole in my heart. No kitty will ever take her place, but Peanut is sure making me smile and laugh, which I haven't for awhile. I love her already and she is just here a few hours.
