Arrival Story:
Neeko showed up at our house as a stray. We live way out in the country, so we know he's not a neighbor's cat. We suspect he might have been dumped, because Neeko likes to mark his territory...A LOT! We're having him neutered to put a stop to that...lol Neeko is extremely lovable, and gives the best Eskimo kisses!

Bio:
When we took Neeko to the vet to have him neutered, they told us he reminded them of a Bobcat because of the hair growing out of his ears. He reminds me of a vampire kitty because of his long fangs...as you'll see in one of his pictures of when he's sleeping.

Cat of the Week two weeks in a row???!!!

Well, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I was chosen as cat of the week last week, but to find out I had been chosen again THIS week as cat of the week? How cool is that!!! I wish I had noticed sooner, but my grandma Wanda took a terrible spill at her house Monday afternoon and busted her forehead open, and also perforated her eye, so my mom hasn't been able to be on the computer much this week. Grandma Wanda has 15 stitches, and had to have surgery on her eye. They're not sure what the quality of her vision will be in the eye once it heals. Anyway...I know my diary should mainly be about me, since this is Catster, but my humans and their family are very important to me, and I wanted everyone to know why I hadn't realized until today that I had been named cat of the week for a second week. Thanks so much to HQ, or whoever was responsible for this. It truly has been a great honor!!

LIFE IS GOOD!!

Well, today makes three weeks since I found my new forever home. My humans took me to the vet and had me fixed because they said I was causing too much of a stink going around marking my territory throughout the house...including the humans. MOL! Hey! I was just letting them know how much I loved them and my new home. Anyway...after my surgery they set me up in my own private suite...complete with a TV, luxurious couch (which I loved stretching out on) and my very own food bowl and litter box. The humans would come visit me throughout the day, and would sometimes bring me out with my other fursibs. After 11 days, they told me it was time for me to join everyone and have free roam of the house. Well, the dogs are pretty cool, but those two female cats are not happy about there being a new man in town....hissing and growling at me. I don't know what their problem is. Anyway....I've been out and about in the house for four days now, and they are calming down a little bit. I guess it helps because I'm keeping my distance from them most of the time. I mean....who wants to be hissed and growled at? Not me! I'm sure once they get to know me better they realize what a cool cat I am and we'll become good friends. I sure do love my new forever home.....life is good!!!
