I'm so sad for Julie, and we'll be purring that these sweet kitties find homes soon. She might want to put them on Petfinder and also post in the Catster forum if she hasn't already. Maybe even post something on Catster's Facebook page. She should probably put "Adoptable" on their Catster pages too. Oh my Goddess!!! the candles get lit tonight here. If there is any way we can help we want to. We're very fond of her, and I am in love with much of the work she does and we so can relate...there but for the grance of God... Please, can you post this to facebook so I can put it out to everyone? What about Best Friends Animal Sanctuary? Have her post to Liz Marsh so it can go out as an email blast. Keep us posted!!!! We don't want anything to happen to these babies!!!!! Mawmee posted a link to Art's diary over on Facebook! :( We trooly hope that these kittehs can stay with their mom and they find a place to call home..together.... Callin out a favor here st francis...pleez and tanx.... aww this is so said yes we will puray and also pass the word to all of our kitty loving friends to help us net work for them. Thank you for the suggestions and links, Samoa! Mom posted a link on Facebook about this too. Hopefully someone will hear about this and be able to provide homes for the cats. Princess Antonia Llwellyn, Mom also recommended contacting Best Friends and passed on their main phone number to Julie. Is Liz Marsh associated with Best Friends? Oh, thank you Tabbies OTT (and any others I've missed) for posting a diary about Julie's situation! The more we can get word out, the better. Mom has passed on some of the suggestions mentioned above to Julie. I don't think she's online much. She has a lot going on right now just trying to find a place for herself and the other four cats to live, while also trying to find separate homes for the other five cats and having to take one of the cats to the shelter. Terrible situation to happen to someone who has given so much to others. Her may wanna chek out " Cat house on the kings " too buddy no, Liz Marsh does emails blasts for at need animals. She's fantastic. http://www.lizardmarsh.net/ a message from Julie, as of a bit ago: Well, a no-kill shelter took 3 of my cats today (Chief Red Cloud, Chief Joseph and Marilia). They will not take any cats on meds and those are: Graciela: 5mg Methimazole in a.m. and 2.5mg Methimazole in p.m. for life Autumn: 200-250mg Fluids every other day for life. Fuzz: Who is healthy, but 16 and they won't take him. He would do best alone with an elderly couple or person. He's laid back, loves being petted and has a high-pitched little meow. Doesn't do great with other cats; hence, my trying to find a more comfortable place for him to be. I'm sending them lotsa purrs. We are so sorry to read this, it is such a sad story, so horrible. We are sending many many purrs. If anyone in Northern CA or beyond wants one of these beautiful babies we will help with transport. We a sad to see this, so much sadness seems to be happening around here at the moment. Mette-the-human says she wishes there was anything she could do but we live really far away and can't seem to do anything. Really hope all of these cats find loving homes and have a happy time ahead of them. Lots of hopeful purrs from Emil, Lilly and Mette-the-human. This is so sad, We will keep you and your kitty babies in our thoughts and prayers. We are sending purrs of support! Please Paw mail as needed! Tim T and Family Pops added his thoughts for this sad day. Words fail us Roo we are keeping you and all of your family in our purrayers. Tim, Toby, Buddy, Rumpy, B, Fitz, and Dad Pete |
