Yesterday mum set off like normal but much to our surprise came home an hour or so later. She explained that she is on holiday all this week. Actually she had gone for a blood test and now she was home and at our beck and call.
I'll be honest - I am a cat who thoroughly enjoys the weekends and makes the most of them. By Monday I'm ready for catch up sleep. I did go out some but I also slept more. You'll know how tired I was when I say mum did some card making and I didn't help. Normally I love picking out the things for her to stick on.
When a cat stretches out in a sunbeam, all contentedly, he does not necessarily want his tummy kissed. Mum said sorry but she just couldn't resist. Actually I did purr. I've been out so much I haven't had many snuggles with my mum and I had forgotten how good they feel.
"So you'll be home all week, just available for tummy rubs and snack times?" I asked.
Mum looked shame-faced - and well she might - for this morning out came Big Bag and she's started putting things in it. Swimming costume, sun tan lotion, camera....these are not the things she will need for a quiet week at home with Josie and me. It looks horribly like she is off away so don't worry if there's no diary for a time.

Yeah, sounds like your momma is off to go have fun on her own. You'll have uninterrupted sleep time at least.
Yes, it has been hot here also. Last week it was 108 degrees. We had seven days of ofur 100 degrees, then four days of 90's. Now we are back ofur 100 again. I hope it doesn't get this hot for you! MOL! I hope you don't melt!
How dare she to just run off and have fun on her own without you guys. She should really spent quality time with you cats at home, available at your every beg and call. Just wait. She'll soon miss you.
Mum and I love reading you're diary it's a great read. It's great to have mum around most of the time but she home all of the time she not at work earning money for my food.
Thanks for the warning you may not be around for a while. I will start reading your dairy again once your mum gets back from her holiday.
