It began with my mum being at home extra long so I got more garden time and still time for a tunny rub. I thought maybe she wasn't going to work at all but she said she was on a course that started a bit later.
"What will you be learning?" This is usually good for a laugh.
"Presentation Skills." I was not disappointed. I've come across that one before.
"Isn't that just telling people stuff?"
"In an interesting and engaging way," my mum said.
"So you mean yes." I pretended to give the matter some thought. "Don't you already know how to do that?"
"You can always learn a bit more," said my mum.
This is one of the many wonderful things about being a cat. We know enough and we're there, already perfect.
Anyway it meant she left a bit later and came home a bit early and she seemed happy that she learnt good stuff.
Then she logged on and Josie and I saw that we have loads of fireworks on our pages. The very best sort of fireworks that soar and sparkle but never go bang. Thank you so much to all our lovely friends.
And I was a Diary Pick. Life is truly good for this boy!!

Congrats on the DDP!
Congrats on being a diary pick mate. I can see why the dairy chick loves you. You write a very interesting diary. Glad you enjoy your extra mum time too.
I have to agree with you on the "we know enough"
I rather tell people stuff in an annoying way. I get better results that way. I'm pretty good at that. My presentation skills are purrfect. Concats to your DDP.
