Sleep can be sneaky

When I am not playing with my white worms I like my mum to throw my toys for me and I chase them. I like how they all land differently and some I ignore and some I chase all round. It's a good game and that's what we played last night.

Except after one pounce I looked up and mum was completely ignoring me and watching TV. I gave her a good telling off as you can imagine.

She looked surprised. "Toby - you falled asleep"

I may have closed my eyes momentarily to make the game more exciting but surely didn't sleep. She looked at her watch.

"Over half an hour. It would have felt cruel to keep throwing toys at my sleeping cat."

"Oh"

Strange how sleep can sneak up on you mid-game. When I woke up I was so sure I hadn't been asleep. I've obviously been over-doing the birthday celebrations!!

You play some interesting games. If you weren't sleeping when your eyes were close what were you doing?

ConCATulations on being chosen as a DDP today Toby! I am kinda catfused tho...my meowmy calls what you did "Having a Senior moment." She says when you get older, you can "nod off" at any given moment, and not even be aware that you did fall asleep. Toby, you just turned one year old four days ago...how can you already be a SENIOR???

I bet you were meditating, Toby. We cats solve all the world's problems when we meditate. That's why we do so much of it. Concats for being a diary pick.
