I had been having fun with my mum and Josie yesterday and then mum said it was bedtime. She was in bed reading her book but I wasn't sleepy so I was mootling about, looking for fun when I noticed it.

"Has that always been there?"

"Yes, it has"

"I never noticed it before. I'll get rid of it for you."

For up on the wall a long thing flittered and it must be destroyed. Only when I reached for it I couldn't touch it. It was very annoying, on and on it went all oblivious to my eagerly outstretched paw, batting away at it's defence.

Mum says that she is glad that the clock face stopped me attacking the second hand as it went round and round but I was grumpy. Why have a perfectly good toy liek that and then shut it away?
