It has been wet and windy here but yesterday mum said something that excited me very much. The weather people said that it might snow a little. My very first snow!!

I was very excited and kept going outside to wait for it so I wouldn't miss that first flake. Only it was rather cold and it wasn't happening so I kept coming in again.

And then I saw it - lighter than I had expected, white clouds drifting down on me leaving a powdery softness on the ground beside me. It was beautiful.

Then mum broke in and told me that wasn't snow. When it snows it will be outdoors we were indoors and what that was was her dusting icing sugar over the Christmas Pudding Mini Muffins that she had baked for her dance class. She shook the sieve a little hard and down it came on me.

So I still haven't seen snow; I've had a close encounter with icing sugar.

But maybe today....

MOL MOL you are so funny we never seen snow ever but I bet it is grand to see it and feel it but kinda cold! Oh did you get to eat some of that sugar?

I've seen snow once in my life. It a shame it has to get really cold so you can see snow mate. Take care and make sure you keep warm. I hope when it does snow that it snows enough for you to make a snowman.
