Thank you for all your support yesterday.
I sort of hoped that mum might have forgotten as after all she forgot to give us any breakfast but then the basket appeared. We both made a run for it but mum caught me. I heard her put food down for Josie but Josie thought it was a trap and stayed hidden.
Mum and I went to the vet and she left me there. It wasn't too long before they made me sleep and I was a bit fuzzy when I first woke up but I thought I had better look lively so they would let me home.
Mum came and we were very happy to see each other. The nurse told mum that I still wasn't hungry and hadn't eaten anything. I was starving, I just wasn't going to eat the pap they gave me there. They even gave mum some to give me at home but I wouldn't eat it there either. They said I might be sick if I had my normal food but mum let me have some biscuits and I was fine and then some normal food and I was still fine.
I had two important jobs to do when I got home. One was to sniff round everywhere and check it was all the same, two was to get rid of the bandage they put round my leg. I managed to get it off and have hidden it so mum can't put it back on. Both my legs are shaved in a pleasing symmetry.
I was a bit tired yesterday and slept the night very close to my mum. This morning I am completely back to normal and have been chasing Josie which mum was pleased to see even if Josie wasn't.
And I weigh 6 pounds and 4 ounces. I think they wondered why mum was so keen to know but she wanted my Catster page to be accurate.

Yay! You're home and OK, and now officially a handsome Man Cat! So glad to hear everything went well.
Great news! I am so glad your operation went well. :)
We are glad you are back and feeling better.
I bet you're happy to have that behind you. I don't like the vet food either. I never eat it. Glad that you took your bandge off. Last time when I had a bandage, I wouldn't let Mom take it off and the next day, when Mom came home from work, my paw was swollen HUGE. Mom got scissors and cut it off. I was screaming, because my paw hurt like heck. She rushed me to the vet. He's only 5 min. away. I was OK. The swelling went down in a day. But Mom felt so bad for not taking it off right away.
Hi little Toby. How nice that you had your operation. I don't like boycats who haven't had it yet. Good for you that your vet has fashion sense. Last time when I was there, they shaved both my front legs but they did it asymetrical, which looked funny. Good to hear that you're back to your old, wonderpurr self.
Oh um, reading my above post I wanted to clarify that Mom got scissors and cut the bandage off, not my paw. MOL. Thought I'd better make that clear.
Glad everything went well it's a very simple operation for boy cats. Now it's done the good news it can never be done again. Well I had that operation twice but that's another story.
