After my mum did my diary yesterday she sighed heavily and said she didn't feel so well. Actually she has a temperature and a sore throat and a headache and I gave the matter some thought and declared she should stay home where I could keep an eye on her. And she agreed that would be a good idea.
Then I said that I had heard that many people feel better if they rub the tummy of a small cat and I was willing to help out there. So I snuggled up next to her and purred for her and she rubbed my tummy.
And then I said that maybe it was my rumbling tummy that was making her head sore and some extra food would help with that and she said, "Don't push it young man!"
She stayed home all day but that wasn't as good as I had hoped as mostly she slept and Josie and I took turns in looking after her. Today she is a bit better but still not better enough for work so we are keeping close by in case she needs special purrs. I have also been giving her massages although she isn't so keen on my acupuncture claw treatments. I'm not sure why as I'm sure they are doing her good.

Oh lil Toby, massages is good but not the claws. You gotsta learn to tuck 'em in so's not to hurt yer mama.
Hi Toby. That is so nice of you to take such good care of your Mum. I bet she'll be up and running (running to do your every wish) in no time. Some people swear by acupuncture, others say it really doesn't do any good. Sorry that your Mum didn't like it.
Sorry to hear you're mum isn't well. Sending purrs to her that's she better soon. You keep being a good kitty nurse to her and she'll be better in no time.
