Yesterday was brilliant. My mum came home and let me out and it was all sunny and warm and she had all the windows open and I ran around lots and lots in the garden and I was really happy. Dylan came in but I was so happy I didn't even care.

Then Kishmal, one of his flatmates, tried to come in too but Josie said enough is enough. I have never seen her so fierce, her tail puffed up so she looked like an enormous cat and she chased Kishmal right out of the garden.

Mum said she didn't know that Josie had that in her.

At bedtime mum made me come in but I was still very excited so I bounded around the flat and chased Josie lots and it was great and then I cuddled up with mum for a well earned sleep. She said it was so hot she wasn't sure that she wanted me so close but I was purring too loudly to pay attention to that.

Today it is raining like mum said it would. I have been out in it and it isn't too bad but we now have a problem. When mum came to close and lock the back door she couldn't. The lock won't work. She says she needs to work out how to fix it somehow as she can't go to work with it open.

She should just stay home with us, that's what I say, and then there's no problem!

Congrats on being DDP mate. Hope you enjoy your time in the spotlight. If you mum stays home with you all time just remember she earns money to pay for your food. So your mum staying home all the time isn't a good idea.

Wow, your place is like a cat magnet. All the cats in the neighborhood want to hang out at your place. Good job Josie! Somecat has to protect the territory.
