Josie turned out to be right. My mum came home and bustled round a bit and chopped up food and put it in the fridge and then there was a knock on the door.

It was Bill who is her brother from Scotland. He had to be in London for work so he came to stay. I like Bill and here is why.

He let me attack his feet even when mum told him not to encourage me. He has a watch in his pocket with a chain hanging down that I could and did attack. He knows good games and likes cats.

Mum said she would just put supper in the oven and he said couldn't they have pizza so I think mum will be eating whatever she had made for a long time as there was quite a lot of it.

Bill has three young children and he was telling my mum that they were all playing pirates when one of their cats joined them and was rubbing his head against all the toys. The children wanted to know why the cat was doing that so Bill told them that the cat was marking the toys as his. His youngest child got very upset and started gathering up the toys in his arms and he told the cat "These are my toys, not yours!"

But as long as they smell right us cats don't mind sharing stuff.

This morning mum crept about and told us to be quiet so as not to wake Bill and we were - until mum went in the bathroom and closed the door. I do not like closed doors and so I sat right outside and made my feelings known - and mum siad that was not being quite but it didn't seem to wake Bill up.

Mum woke him up after a while and they both amused me for about half an hour and then my mum had to go to work but Bill was still at home so that's all extra play time and hopefully he'll give me a don't-follow-me-treat when he leaves too!!

Uncles are cool people. I spend a lot of time on my uncle Grant's lap and legs when mum goes to work. My uncle Grant is my mum's big brother. We watch a lot of Aussie rules football together. It's our boy thing to do every week.

Don't-follow-me-treat? We don't get those. I want those too. Uncle Bill sounds like a great guy. We like people that like cats.
