I was idly looking out of the window when I saw Kishmal from next door and there was something very odd about him. "Mum", I called. "Kishmal has a red leg!"

Mum said that no, Kishmal is a tabby and white boy but she came in and she saw I hadn't dreamed it and Kishmal was indeed wearing a rather dashing red sock on one leg.

She said that later she needed to talk to them anyway so she would find out. It seems that poor Kishmal had disappeared for a day and when he came back had a swollen leg. The vet found a wound so it looks like he might have got stung or stepped on something. So he has a red leg until he is better and he doesn't like it one little bit.

I thought it looked quite fine and quite fancied the idea of colourful legs but mum says I can't have them.

We had a top weekend as mum was home a lot so there were games and snuggles. Indeed so mellow were we - well - I was asleep on my bed and I saw mum and Josie on the sofa and I went over and washed Josie's head until she started flicking her tail and I didn't bite and settled down on the arm of the sofa and mum said why can't it always be like that?!

Toby you are one very good looking black cat. As your mum said you don't want red legs. Black is a great look for you and you should stick to it.

You do keep a good lookout little one. However black suits you so no red legs for you..You take care.

You are learning, lil guy. You washed Josie and when she'd had enough, you left her alone. You are learning.
I agree with the others. You are a handsome lil black cat, so NO RED LEGS fur you.

Toby, you are getting so big. What is your Mom feeding you? Must be that good British food. Hmph, I want some fish'n chips. Striped socks would be great. I think striped cats are the best. (hope your friend feels better soon)
