Yesterday my mum was in bed reading her book. This was wrong. I wanted to play so she threw one of my mice for me. I dashed across the room in style and caught that mousie on the chair. It was no match for the hunting skills of Toby.

I enjoyed that so much I wanted to do it again so I asked my mum and she threw it for me and I ran off again. Then she thought a moment and asked, "Did you just bring that mouse back to me Toby?" as I jumped back on the bed, that bad mousie dangling by his tail from my mouth.

"Wow", she said. "You're a retriever, what a clever cat! Do it again!"

And this is where it went wrong again. I am descended from the majestic lion, the stealthy panther, the fearsome sabre toothed tiger. I do not perform tricks on command. So despite all her pleading I refused to bring the mouse back any more.

You play fetch with dogs. You throw things for cat and we demand that our humans go get it as that's what they are there to serve us.

knot even if her tosses trout...dont bring it bak....let it bee sitttin there stinkin up de houz til yur mom gets it and gives it bak two ewe.....thats what peepuls is for...ta due what de kitteh asks....josie pro ablee fogetted to tell ewe this....
