There has been something of an atmosphere at home but it isn't me that caused it. No, it's my excitable paws.

I was asleep on the arm of the sofa yesterday evening and my mum was asleep on the sofa when I heard purring. But it wasn't me purring. I looked down and there was Josie on mum's legs having her head rubbed. I was cross - I didn't actually want to be there at that moment but what if I did later and Josie was in the way? So of course I had to move her on. my mum tried to flip me away but I am very persistent and Josie went.

Mum gave me something of a talking to about being kind to Josie and I did listen. So mum and I settled down again and Josie came back and curled up on mum's legs and I came and curled up beside her on mum's legs too and my mum was just saying how cute we looked when my naughty excitable paws took over. I didn't mean to. I really didn't. But my paws attacked Josie.

And Josie ran off and I couldn't help but chase her. Mum sighed and said she wants to know when I will be a calm sensible cat but I already am one. Just a calm, sensible cat with party paws.

Congrats on being cat of the day mate. Hope you enjoy your day in the spotlight. Your mum wants to know when you'll become a calm sensible cat well I have party paws at times and I'm 13 so she may have to wait a long time before you our grown it. Mum reckons I'm a kitten trapped in a cats body.
