Adjusting

It is a hard thing for a kitten - when you have had lots of attention from lots of people all weekend and then you have just your mum and a grumpy cat for company. I have been asking my mum for lots more attention and mostly getting it but not always which displeases me. This morning I had to knock the wooden cat off the window sill on to her head to even get her to admit that she was awake after all.

The only thing I didn't like at the weekend was not being top cat as the other cats were so I am putting Josie in her place lots so as to make sure I stay Top Cat here.

Mum said she is adjusting too as she was staying in a lovely hotel at the weekend with people bringing her tea and doing the washing up and no cats throwing wooden ornaments at her when she was asleep. (My mum said she had gone to a place called Manchester to watch 'Take That'. I know them as mum has them on her ipod and often sings along and occasionally dances which is a bit alarming. I hope they could sing and dance better than she can!)

And Josie said she had a lovely peaceful weekend of not being attacked so she is adjusting too.

I'm sure we'll all get used to being just us again but life can feel hard sometimes for a little cat. Mum is completely unsympathetic and says I have a lovely life but I'm sure I could train her to make my life even better.

I used to go to cat shows, and sleepover the night before at my cat mom's house and see my catmom, sister and my nephews and nieces. afterwards it took me a couple days to settle down from all the excitement. I like the food my mom gives me best, and she also gives me cut up baked chicken, which they don't get. Home is best, because all the toys and furniture is yours, and you are king.
