On Saturday morning we had to go back to the vet. If there's one phrase you don't want to hear at the vet it's "Gosh - that's a big needle."
I was examined and am growing goodly and in tip top health. And I had my shots. But then my mum said I will go back in three months and be neutered (whatever that is) and chipped and the vet said he could chip me there and then. The good thing is he said I can go out in a week. The bad thing is that he got out the chipping needle and my mum said it was very big.
I was, of course, exceptionally brave. And am now a chipped boy but mum refuses to say I can go out next week even after all that.
The vet also found my pet flea and sadly we had to leave him there. Mum wanted to know where I found him as I don't go out but Josie and I both had to have flea treatment.
So that was quite a day for me. But I was much better than I was after my first set of shots. And I weigh 2.7lb and Josie and I did good playing.
And today mum says she has no work -it's a holiday day. Life is good.

Oh my Toby - that doesn't sound fun at all! I got a chip, too, but they wouldn't show mom the needle. That's probably a good thing. :)
Maybe your mom can teach you to walk on a leash and that way you can go outside and still be safe!
Mum says she would never have let me have it if she had seen the needle first. But I was so very good and brave. She gave me some special food so it was worth it - only the food was so good I wanted more and not my normal food at supper time.
Toby being neutered is a thing every boy cat has to go through. The good thing about it is that you're sound asleep when they do it and it's over in hour. Let's just says they take things that make you a boy that you don't need to go to the toilet. If you need any consoling you know where to find me mate.
It also great that you're chipped so if you get lost they scan you with a magic wand and they can return you to your mum and Josie.
Glad it went so well!! You are a good boy for bein so good!!!
Oh no! I have heard the word Neuter too. I still have a few months to go. I need to get chipped. Our vet does it with the neuter but mom probably could have asked for it sooner. I don't get to go outside though so hopefully nothing happens before then.
Glad you are healthy pal! I got my shots all finished up a few weeks ago too.
No meows on the neuter thing except it must be done and you will never miss anything they steal..needles, my you are brave.I scream as soon as I get in that vet office..MOL
We all are leashed trained here so maybe your Mama can teach you to go out on one too!
enjoy the day with your Mama and Josie
you are so brave to get chipped at such a young age. I have a chip too but I got it as an adult. I agree with the others that harness training might be a good thing to try. You're young. You'll learn fast. I'm sorry that you lost your pet flea. Maybe you can find a pet spider instead.
