This morning Josie was sitting on the window sill, twitching her tail in a clear invitation to attack. With Ninja like stealth I was wiggling up the bed, stalking my prey, ready for the attack.
I leapt.
I had failed to take one thing into consideration. There is a gap between the headboard and the window sill - you could even call it a kitten sized gap - and in to that I fell.
There was a long silence where I tried to work out what had happened and I swear I heard Josie chuckle. Then my mum's head appeared upside-down, "Are you OK, little one?"
Of course I am. Actually I meant to do that all along. Pretty impressive vanishing act. Had you all going!
I did extra bouncing when I came out to show that I had not just embarrassed myself. Not at all. But I am taking extra care on that particular leap now. Josie makes it look very easy but my legs aren't so long as hers. Yet!
