I slept most of yesterday after my outing. I could still smell smoke in the evening and Mom said not to worry as it was someone burning his field. We left the Vets and Dad said lets go to Petsmark and get Kato’s food. Mom said okay. Arriving Mom took me out of the car and we were in a huge parking lot with lots of cars and people. We went through 2 doors that just open as we approach. There was this nice lady who loved me and I return the favorite. I let her hold me will Mom went a got a cart. She put me into the cart. I wasn’t sure about and tried to jump out of it. Mom pushed the cart down the aisles and I saw people & dogs. Mom stopped and put several cans of my food in the cart. Next we went down an aisle and Mom picked up a Felway’s refill. The reason I slept most o f the day. There were cages of birds that caught my eye. When Mom was paying the lady there was a line of people who wanted to see the cat. There were a number of nice people who said I was handsome. I let several pet me. That was the fun part of the adventure. We went to 2 more places before we return to home. Dad took me for a short walk.
This morning my pawrents thought I was going to take a pill. I thought otherwise. So far I have won and the pill is mixed with my food. I ate everything but the pill. My toenails may have been clipped; but I can defend myself. Peace & bear hugs to all! Kato

Whoa! You actually went to Petsmark?! That's really pawsome! You are so brave. Sounds like quite the adventure!

Very cool you got to go shopping. Neat about seeing the birdies. Did you put one of those in the cart too?

We love meat baby food so much (for a little snack) that if we ever have to take a pill Mom is going to put the pill in a little of the baby food as we lick that right up. Maybe worth a try. Our favorite is Gerber 2nd Foods Chicken or Turkey.
