We had just lost one of our Kitties named Sugar and she was only 2 years old. I was driving back from orientation, and said to go to the shelter. So I made the turn to the shelter. I went back to where the cats were, and my eyes were set on two black cats, who were playful and affectionate. I couldn't just adopt one of them, they both struck me love. So I adopted both of them a few days ago, on April 8th, 2011.
The shelter said they have not put down any animals for 2 years!!! They are the best! And they thanked me for adopting both Diamond and Baby, and said no one wants Black cats. I said, well I sure do!
Bio:
Diamond is no longer with me, she has a NEW family and doing very well! At the time I was living in Texas, and wouldn't get in the car with me, for me to travel back to Alabama. She now has a new Mama who just fell in love with her! I miss you Sweet Diamond! Enjoy your Happy Home!

I am having such a good time these days. Settling in to my new home. Everyday I will run through the house, by myself. Mama just shakes her head and laughs. She says I am doing the kitty 500 by myself!
I have already ruined a couple rolls of paper towels. MOL! I tell Mama I am still kitten, even though I am 1 years old:)
When I first came here, I hissed and growled at every kitty. I am getting alot better now. I am even drinking with Smokey!
I tried to get Zill to play with me today, but he wasn't coperating. I will get him yet!

When I first got here a few days ago, I growwled and hissed at every cat, even Smokey. Now I will sleep next to some of the cats, and today I even drank milk from a bowl with Smokey!!!! I love my new home, it is so wonderful!

Hello Everyone, my name is Diamond. Our new Mama came to the Animal Shelter, and she fell inlove with both of us! Baby and I were adopted two days ago!
I have staked my claim on this house and of course my new Mama. When one of the other cats is trying my patience, I stand my ground and box with them. And everyone runs from me. MOL!
I keep on telling them, I am here to stay! There beginning to get the idea. At night, I do sleep with Mama! The bed is so much more comfortable than the cage I lived in for several months at the Shelter.
I attack everything in the house to play with. Shoe strings, blankets, bath mat, etc. You name it, I'v done it! Mama says I remind her so much of Shadow who past away 1 1/2 years ago. Everytime she looks into my eyes, she see's Shadow.
Well it is time to go have fun, see you all later!
