I went missing over 6 months ago. Mama thought I was gone forever. She had moved away from Gulf Shores a while ago, but I went missing prior to that. She came back to see if by chance she could find me or Saphire. She went around the neighborhood talking to folks. She came to this one house, where she knew this guy loved cats who had lived in the house behind where we use to live.
As Mama talked to him and explained to him what I looked like and that I was fixed, etc. He said just a minute. He had a fenced area for his cats. Then Mama turned her head and said BABY! She was so thrilled to see me, and was so excited to know I was safe. She first thought of bringing me home but she decided to let me stay, for the Man and his wife are so attatched to me.
Heck, what cat gets fresh cooked chicken every day? Yes I am spoiled! I also sleep on the bed with my new family. Mama just didn't have the heart to take me from my new family, for she saw how much they loved me, that I was well taken care of, and I am happy. So she gave the guy a hug and thanked him for taking me in and taking care of me. That she just couldn't take me away from them. The guy said, his heart sunk when she told him about me, and didn't want to let go of me. That it would break his heart. Mama said not to worry, she couldn't take me away from them. They had been taking care of me for over 4 months. He was very relieved to keep me:)

Hello Everyone, my name is Baby. And our new Mama came into the Shelter and adopted both Diamond and I! My first few days in my new home I was scared, not sure what to think, so I stayed under the bed.
Now I am out in the living room with my family. I come out from under the chair and talk to my Mama's and get all the love and affection I want. Yesterday I even got some chicken when we all celebrated Zills birthday!
I am slowly doing better. I am just a little nervous. But life is so much better than it was when I lived in the shelter for several months.
