Arrival Story:
My boyfriend's cat had a litter of three kittens, a siamese/calico mix. I fell in love with one of the boys who was all grey with black points. It was all set for me to take him home.. a week before I was supposed to take him home, his brother died of a respitory problem. A week later, he also took the same route as his brother. :( I was devestated, so to cheer me up after school one day, my boyfriend and best friend took my youngest sister and I to the local animal shelter to pick out a kitten! I looked and fell in love with an orange tabby, but when I went to the lobby to call my mom (it was a month before my 18th birthday) someone had adopted the one I had my heart set on. So we went back to look at the choices again, and a little kitty near the top caught my eye that I had passed over the first time. I'd never seen a torbie before, and she was just the sweetest thing that I HAD to have her! I'm glad I picked her instead every day since.
