Arrival Story:
I had been browsing local animal shelters for around 6-months looking for the perfect pet. Weezy caught my eye at PetSmart and I immediately fell in love after 5 minutes of playing with him. The adoption center was closed at the time so they advised me to come back the next day. So i snuck out early from work to pick him up and found out he was sent back to our County's Animal Services due to a severe Upper Respiratory Infection. So I drove an hour over to the kill-shelter to find out he was indeed extremely ill and was going to be put down. Luckily Animal Services gave me the option to adopt him with the chance of him passing away. So I took him home and began a 2 month recovery process with him that included antibiotics, nebulizer treatments, antihistamines, eye drops and a lot of TLC. We had multiple 24/7 Emergency Vet visits but luckily he is all better!!
